Urge for appreciation - how many don't have??

Is it a selfish behaviour....
Why do we seek for feedback (mostly for positive in our minds) for our so called good acts..
It is there everywhere in each task in every thought in every feeling ....we want "atleast" appreciation(or acknowledgement in agreement or praising) in some manner or other we want feedback....

Geeta ka saar
"Karm kiye ja fal ki chinta mat kar...."

Appreciation being a fruit Is it being selfish....

What one seeks is not feed back.Just a little appreciation and a little understanding.this spiced up with words of encouragement. Is it too much to ask?

Hi grandma
First of all welcome here ...
As u said one seek some word for appreciation and encouragement ...even if in his/her conscience he/she is doing correct.....Why ???
what I think that a person want to share both happiness as well as sorrows..so when he does good he feels happy and he wants to share it...and wants others to enjoy with him...
Is it?

Hi StandbyMind..as ur id says standbymind and if we apply mind to these Karma, fal, selfishness, right, wrong, then we really get into a trap...
Even I have so many such questions which push to my sub cons mind ...

thanks for visiting

Puneet

Feedback is important but not mandatory .I guess it doesn't work for me .Iam not saying it as I've rebellion against the system/process But i've this inherent desire to stick to my own beliefs .So while feedback is so much fun to read ,it hold very little significance .

Thanks for dropping by .I too hail from Almora .Indeed the land of temples

Hope to see you again

P.S -- people presume that I travel a lot. Though i'd like to ,The truth is I don't .Most of the times they're weekend errands
